CNA-Blended/Online/Hybrid

Frequently Asked Questions

The blended/online/hybrid combines online learning with face2face lab activities and clinical experience in a long-term care facility. It is as rigorous as our classroom instruction, with the benefit of online study. The 50 hours of face-to-face classroom time is replaced with online activities. Students are not required to meet at a scheduled time with an instructor online, however, the online content of the class is available 24/7 to each student during the enrollment period with attendance tracking. The online program allows each student to pace through the course and complete assigned modules prior to attending the Face2Face sessions that correspond with the online information covered on a weekly basis for the morning schedule and bi-weekly for the evening schedule.

Students should be proficient in reading, writing and technical skills. Successful students in the online format recognize that a strong commitment to consistent participation, communication and completion of all the course work is critical to success.
