BLENDED/ ONLINE/ HYBRID | TUESDAY | Phlebotomy Training Program

WIOA: The Phlebotomy Technician Certificate program is a combination of classroom, laboratory and applied experiences that will provide students with training needed for employment in phlebotomy careers. ​​​ Individuals must be at least 18 years of age.

PLAN AHEAD

Blended/online students meet online on a weekly basis on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Upon completion of weekly online readings and independent skills practice, registered students meet weekly Face2Face on Fridays for proctored exams, skills practice and return demonstration.

An alternate day for proctored exams, skills practice and return demonstration must be arranged by the Program Coordinator/ Director prior to starting the course.

Curriculum: This class uses the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities


Flexible Payment Plans: Our program offers flexible payment plans to students admitted in the program. Employer sponsored or government sponsored students should select the Offline Payment option to register for the course. To start the course, please bring complete documentation from your employer or case worker by the first day of class.

Standard Policy for Payment Plans: Pay one third of your tuition to start the course, balance is payable on a weekly basis until balance is paid in full. The student is required to have ZERO balance in his/her ZHI student account in order to attend clinical. Credit card on file and minimum $30 processing fee may be required for invoicing registration costs for Offline Payment Plan.

Prerequisites: Recent mantoux test (within last three months prior to start of clinical), COVID Vaccine Card, ability to lift more than 25 lbs, passing scores on the reading comprehension test and cleared background study.
